My Story
I created Prestige Domestic Cleaning with one clear aim: to provide high-end homeowners with a bespoke, luxury cleaning service that reflects the beauty, sophistication, and exclusivity of their homes. Our clients expect more than just cleanliness, they seek impeccable service, discretion and meticulous attention to detail that aligns with their lifestyle.
I strongly believe that a home is more than just a space, it’s a sanctuary, a reflection of one’s standards and a place where perfection should be effortlessly maintained. My Journey to Creating Prestige Domestic Cleaning
My career began in 1999 when I joined the British Royal Navy, first as a pilot and later as a Weapon Engineer. Over the course of 17 years, I developed a deep appreciation for discipline, precision, and attention to detail—qualities that would later become the foundation of Prestige Domestic Cleaning.
However, transitioning into civilian life was far from easy. After serving in the Iraq War, I faced significant personal challenges, including PTSD and depression. The sudden loss of my mother was the catalyst that sent me into a downward spiral of self-sabotage, culminating in an attempted suicide. It was a turning point that forced me to rebuild my life with the support of my family, close friends, military charities, and incredible mentors who helped me rediscover my purpose.
During this time, I realised the profound impact of a well-maintained environment on mental clarity, emotional well-being and overall quality of life. I came to understand that true luxury is not just about material wealth—it is about peace of mind, effortless elegance, and the freedom to focus on what truly matters.
The Birth of a Vision
Having experienced first hand how order, cleanliness, and structure can restore a sense of balance and well-being, I set out to create a service that would bring this same sense of harmony to others.
I recognized a gap in the market, affluent homeowners needed a discreet, highly specialized cleaning service that understood their unique expectations. They sought more than standard cleaning; they wanted a team that could preserve the integrity of fine furnishings, care for delicate surfaces, and provide an impeccable level of service that blends seamlessly into their lifestyle.
